Omkareshwar is a sacred town in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, which are revered shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Siddhanath Temple: This temple is also located on an island and is dedicated to Lord Shiva's incarnation as Siddhanath. It can be reached by boat from the main Omkareshwar temple.

Adi Shankaracharya Mandir: Pay a visit to the Adi Shankaracharya Mandir, dedicated to the great Hindu philosopher and theologian Adi Shankaracharya. This temple is a significant spiritual center in Omkareshwar.

Shri Gayatri Shaktipeeth Temples: Explore the Shakti peeth temples, a group of seven smaller temples dedicated to various mother goddesses, which are located near the main temple complex.

The nearest major airport is Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport (IDR) in Indore. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Omkareshwar.

Indore airport is well-connected to major cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore.

By Road:

Ujjain: you can hire taxi or take bus from Ujjain to omkareshwar temple. Distance 140 km. and the journey takes around 3 - 4 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Taxi price - 2000 to 3500 rs easily available.

From Indore: Indore is the nearest major city to Omkareshwar. You can hire a taxi or take a bus from Indore to Omkareshwar. The distance is approximately 80 kilometers.

By Train:

The nearest railway station to Omkareshwar is in Khandwa 70 kilometers away. From Khandwa, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Omkareshwar.
